When painted with Wetheri'lTs Interior Gloss
Finish. Don't forget that a home needs atmos-
phere — that it requires coziness — that it must
be attractive and comfortable — and don't
overlook the possibility of how much a little
Paint, Ename or Varnish will add to the
appearance of any home.
Never permit your home to become "run-
down" through want of Paint. Use the paint
brush frequently. The many beautiful tints
that can be obtained will add cheer and
inspiration to any surroundings, and will make
old surfaces look fresh and new.
In selecting color schemes, choose colors
which are good in normal natural light and
also in artificial light. Many distinctive,
washable colors are available, assuring fresh-
ness and cleanliness for a long period of time.
Variations in the colors of Interior Gloss
Finish are easily obtained. The addition of
White will lighten any shade, and by mixing
colors together, any number of attractive tints
may be had.
It is always advisable to wash old kitchen
walls and woodwork before painting to
remove any greasy substances that may have
accumulated from the cooking.
For new plastered walls, composition board
or wooden surfaces:
First, apply a liberal coat of WetherilTs
Pigmented Wall Primer. Allow this prime
coat twenty-four hours so that it may become
thoroughly dry and hard.
Second Coat; Apply one coat of Atlas
Enamel Undercoat. If a color other than
white is to be used in finishing, add %
portion of finishing color of Interior Gloss
to the Enamel Undercoat.
Third Coat: Apply WetherilTs Interior Gloss
Finish as it comes in the can, after being
thoroughly stirred from the bottom up.
In applying WetherilTs Interior Gloss Finish,
carry plenty of color in the tip of the brush.
Flow the material on and cross brush with
fairly light pressure on the brush.
For old walls that have previously been
painted, if the surface is in fair condition, a

and a coat of Wetherill's Interior Gloss
Finish as it comes in the can, will give
